RICE PATTY UPDATE.
Last view was "rototilling in the mud" Now the rice has been planted just over the wall.
For 5 years (Aug 2006 through May 2011) Dea taught at Brent International School Manila. We are now both retired and have returned to our home in Colorado. Though this blog is somewhat neglected now, it still serves as a documentation of our time in the Philippines with much information about Biosand filters and family stuff. Please enjoy and comment.

Nope, not heading out for a Hawaiian vacation.
Here in the PI it's Spirit Week on the Brent campus. Whereas the teachers usually look serious and epitomize professionalism at this International School, during this week things are different. This morning Tuesday Sept 12th this is how Dea looked as she was off to school. Why do teachers have all the fun (not Dea's words)?
A close up. Think you could learn in that environment?

Finally! A shot of Braedyn without a big smile on his face. The real Braedyn is finally comin' out. Or did the photographer give him a big lemon before this shot?
To see more of what makes this kid the way he is see: http://mikeandtalisha.blogspot.com/ That's where I snatched this shot of "The BOD" (that's initials for Braedyn Owen Davis).
