Then it came to leavin' on the ...

"After Dark" before dark. That began the smoothe ride home (in contrast to the ride over).

We didn't dare put money in the box less the banca boat would tip...
See I told you it was After Dark before dark.

The bus was waiting to take us home.

And no matter where home is...
It's good to be there. Posted by Picasa

After lunch at Coco Bay we had to hike back to the Banca boat.

In the morning after a good night sleep here's what we found...

I used my GPS to keep track of where we were, then comforted the almost sick passengers that I would be able to tell exactly where we capized. Posted by Picasa
We did have a nice get-away at the LaLaguna Beach over the weekend. It began with a 47 mile ride in the Brent Bus to a small dock just south of Batangas. There the group boarded a couple of Banca Boats and rode the almost 15 miles after dark across the choppy channel. Needless to say we felt much better with our feet on the good ole tierra firma! PI-Bill

After school today Friday Aug 18th we will be going with a group from Brent to Puerta Galera.

It sounds like a fun outing. Our grandaughter Stevii will be going with us as well.

The resort we are going to has a web site if you want to check it out - www.llbc.com.ph.

Puerto Galera lies approximately 100 miles due south of Manila. The
place is situated on the north tip of Mindoro island across the Verdi island
passage from Luzon (the main island where Manila is situated.)

Oops! I forgot to include a pic of our downstairs bath with its exquisite colors. This was the before pic. Actually now it has undergone a 'colorlift'. Posted by Picasa
Our new rocker. Notice Dea's not on it. She's off her rocker again! All the better to enjoy the beautiful wood. Posted by Picasa
The spare bedroom was repainted to the lighter blue yesterday. Dea had originally thought of keeping that color but there were some blotchy, oily looking spots that wouldn't clean up so we went for a paint over job since the school is taking care of it. Posted by Picasa
Going up the down staircase.

The upper landing. Probably we'll use it for a computer/sewing work area. I've got to get some eye shades for this! And I'm color blind, but I've decided "Not enough so". Posted by Picasa
A couple of views of the kitchen.

View looking back toward the front door. Notice the continuation of the intense colors as you proceed up the stairs. Fortunately they are in the process of repainting with Dea's chosen colors.
You can see the two furniture pieces we have purchased - the lamp and the rocking chair. Posted by Picasa
Nice? bright yellow living room walls.
